Job description
As Mechanical Engineer you will design new mechanical modules and improve existing assemblies and components. You ensure that technical solutions are functional, manufacturable and aligned with quality and safety requirements. You work closely with project management, assembly teams and suppliers to deliver reliable mechanical designs.
Mechanical design and development
Design new mechanical blocks and improve existing modules or components. Develop your knowledge of mechanical design and machine construction.
Execution and quality ownership
Manage the quality and completeness of your engineering work. Report progress and planning status to the Director of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Project collaboration
Align with the Project Manager on engineering scope, specifications and design questions within ongoing projects.
Cross-functional problem solving
Collaborate with assembly teams and suppliers to evaluate design feasibility, troubleshoot issues and propose practical solutions.
Safety, quality and sustainability commitment
Follow company HSE and Quality policies. Actively support environmental goals including waste sorting, efficient energy use and reduction of material consumption.
Required competences & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent through experience
- Understanding of machine construction and mechanical systems
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Experience with SAP and MS Office tools
- Proficiency in CREO and/or Windchill and/or AutoCAD
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Curious, structured and collaborative working style
- Customer oriented attitude and ability to represent the company professionally
