Job description
As QA Engineer you ensure that qualification, calibration and maintenance activities comply with internal and external standards. You act as a key quality partner in system design, validation and lifecycle management.
Risk-based quality integration
Apply quality standards to mitigate failure modes during risk-based assessments in design reviews
Qualification compliance
Ensure compliance of qualification activities through the review and approval of qualification protocols and reports
Lifecycle documentation
Review and approve calibration and maintenance records, certification data, and master data changes in eStream
Change and issue control
Evaluate and approve change controls, deviations, investigations and CAPAs related to qualification and system activities
Regulatory alignment
Maintain current knowledge of regulations and ensure qualification status is preserved during system changes or projects
Audit readiness
Prepare for inspections, represent QA in audits, and ensure all deliverables from qualification are implemented in quality systems
Continuous improvement
Challenge and improve qualification processes to enhance system performance and compliance
Required competences & skills
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy or an equivalent scientific field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation, cGMP regulations and system qualification guidelines
- Experience with qualification documents such as URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ and VMPs
- Familiarity with systems such as Comet (incident handling), eStream (maintenance), TrüVault (document management), Summit (training) and Kneat (validation)
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Proactive mindset focused on optimisation and innovation
- Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken
