Job description
As a Senior Quality Assurance Officer, you ensure GMP-compliant product release and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and patient safety.
You act as a bridge between manufacturing, quality and regulatory functions while driving continuous improvement and compliance excellence.
Product Release & GMP Compliance
Review and verify production and quality control data, ensuring product release according to internal and regulatory standards.
Deviation & CAPA Management
Lead investigations, root cause analysis and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Quality Documentation & Review
Evaluate batch records, change controls, deviations, and OOS/CARI reports with a structured and analytical approach.
Validation & Qualification
Coordinate and document validation and qualification activities, including drafting and reviewing validation protocols and reports.
Quality Meetings & KPI Monitoring
Manage and participate in quality review meetings, addressing deviations, process improvements and performance indicators.
Complaint Handling & Communication
Handle and document customer complaints while ensuring professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Supplier & Material Qualification
Contribute to supplier qualification, CPV protocols and annual product reviews to ensure end-to-end compliance.
Quality Culture Promotion
Actively promote quality awareness, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across teams.
Required competences & skills
- Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (pharmacy, chemistry, bioengineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, deviation management, CAPA, and validation processes.
- Strong organisational and analytical mindset with a helicopter view of business processes.
- Experience in project and document management with attention to detail and structure.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP and SharePoint is an asset.
- Resilient under pressure, able to manage deadlines and priorities effectively.
