Job description
As System Engineer you translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications and structured documentation. You coordinate with multiple engineering teams and ensure that project documentation is complete, consistent and delivered on time. You act as a technical point of contact and contribute to continuous improvement within documentation and system engineering practices.
Specification and documentation development
Prepare specification documents and as-built documentation in alignment with customer requirements and internal guidelines.
Technical point of contact
Act as the reference person for technical questions and support the Documentation Engineer where needed.
Document structure and control
Maintain the master project documentation set in a structured and consistent format throughout the project lifecycle.
Cross-functional collaboration
Participate in internal and customer project meetings and support project managers during FAT and validation engineers during commissioning when required.
Quality, safety and sustainability commitment
Work in accordance with quality policies, safety rules and environmental objectives, contributing to continuous improvement.
Required competences & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Experience in an engineering environment is an advantage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
- Interest in PLC / SCADA or related systems
- Accurate, structured and punctual working style
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Ability to analyse bottlenecks and prioritise tasks effectively
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
