Job description
We are looking for a Medior or Senior Compliance Engineer to strengthen the engineering team of our client. You will support qualification activities across a wide range of equipment within pharmaceutical product development and clinical manufacturing. The scope covers both like-for-like adaptations and new equipment installations, as well as legacy qualifications.
Qualification execution
Carry out equipment qualifications independently or as part of a team, ensuring GMP compliance and robust documentation.
Documentation and protocols
Write and execute qualification protocols such as URS, FMEA, PQP, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ and related summary reports. Prepare commissioning test scripts (FAT/SAT) and leverage results where applicable.
Deviation management
Document and investigate quality incidents and deviations. Define causes, consequences, corrective actions and preventive measures. Ensure timely follow-up and closure in compliance with procedures.
Compliance and quality support
Defend qualification approaches to QA, contribute to change controls and CAPAs in the COMET system, and participate in audits or regulatory inspections.
Continuous improvement
Contribute to improvement initiatives, operational procedure writing, validation master plan management and execution of PSQRs to ensure long-term compliance and efficiency.
Required competences & skills
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent through experience
- 5–10 years of experience in qualification within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment
- Strong knowledge of GMP and GDP; experience writing and executing qualification documentation
- Understanding of safety documentation related to change control (machine directive, CE, ATEX, PED) is a plus
- Knowledge of automation or data integrity is an advantage
- Experience with change control management, ideally in COMET
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Independent, structured and quality-focused mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Stress-resistant, flexible and a strong team player
