Job description
As Field Service Engineer, you will provide high-quality post-sales support at customer sites. You will install, maintain and repair advanced laboratory systems in hospitals, laboratories and healthcare institutions. Your work ensures optimal equipment performance and directly impacts healthcare quality and outcomes.
Equipment installation and configuration
Install and configure advanced laboratory equipment at customer locations.
Technical troubleshooting
Resolve technical issues on-site and remotely to guarantee minimal downtime.
Preventive maintenance
Deliver proactive advice and execute maintenance to secure long-term system reliability.
Customer service
Provide professional support and build long-lasting client relationships.
Team collaboration
Work closely with technical and support colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Regional travel
Travel across Wavre, Namur and occasionally Brussels, with international trips for training or meetings.
Required competences & skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Electromechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
- 0–3 years of experience, ideally with exposure to healthcare or laboratory environments.
- Hands-on problem-solving attitude with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in French, with a good command of English for technical training and documentation.
- Knowledge of IT/network infrastructure is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Strong motivation to learn and grow within a supportive and innovative team.
