Job description

As Maintenance Engineer Lab Equipment you are responsible for ensuring that laboratory equipment remains reliable, safe and compliant. You will perform maintenance activities, troubleshoot issues and contribute to process improvements that support both clinical and commercial operations.

Maintenance activities

Perform reactive, preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

Troubleshooting

Diagnose technical issues quickly, resolve them effectively and minimise downtime

Compliance and safety

Ensure that all maintenance activities meet cGMP standards and follow safety guidelines.

Documentation

Record all activities accurately in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) according to good documentation practices.

Process optimisation

Support equipment upgrades and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency and performance.

Collaboration

Work closely with engineers, production teams and quality experts to secure smooth operations and timely product release.

Required competences & skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electromechanics or related field, or equivalent through experience
  • Open to recent graduates or experienced maintenance professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail with a precise and structured approach
  • Proactive, hands-on and solution focused
  • Team oriented with strong collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
